Size I Crochet Hook

Ch 3, join or magic circle

Round 1: 6 SC in loop, do not join.

Round 2: 2 SC in ea SC around ( 12 Single Crochet) Mark the first single crochet with a contrasting color marker.

Round 3: 2 SC in ea SC around ( 24 Single Crochet total)

Round 4: SC in ea ST around.(24 Single Crochet total)

Round 5:2 SC in the same ST, 1 SC in the next ST.Continue around to beg. marker. (36 Single Crochet total)

Round 6-17: SC around to desired length of pouch.

Once you get your length, even the row out by skipping one SC and
sl st in the next.

Tie Row:Ch 1, SC in same ST. *CH 1, SK 1 SC, SC in next SC* continue
around from * to * to beginning, SL ST in beginning SC.

Edging: SL ST in to CH 1 SP. CH 1, 2 SC in ea sp around.
Edging Round 2: CH 1, SC in ea SC around.

Chain 50 with double strands of yarn for the tie.
Weave the tie between the tie row, with every other single crochet.

This is the symbol chart for the half double crochet. Each time you

Chain 2, you are moving up to the next row. The Chain 2 counts as your

Flower Center:
Make a Magic Circle, CH 1, DC in loop,SL ST, 6 times, join in beginning SL ST. Pull magic circle tight and make a secure knot.

Flower Petal:
ROUND 1:Make a Magic Circle, CH 10, HDC in 4th CH from HK, HDC in ea of the next 2 CH's, SC in ea of the next 3 CH's, SL ST in last chain, SL ST in magic circle loop. Make 10 Petals for first round of petals. Close circle tight, knot and secure. Leave a length of tail for sewing additional rounds.

ROUND 2:Make a Magic Circle, CH 10, HDC in 4th CH from HK, HDC in ea of the next 2 CH's, SC in ea of the next 3 CH's, SL ST in last chain, SL ST in magic circle loop. Make 15 Petals for next round of petals. Close circle tight, knot and secure. Leave a length of tail for sewing additional rounds.

Sew round 1 & 2 together. Sew on Flower center. Sew in tails.
A decorative button embellishment can be used instead of the crochet flower center.

Chain 10.

SIDE ONE: In each chain work: 1 SC, 1 HDC, 2DC, 2DC, 2DC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 1 SC, 3 SC (end chain)

SIDE TWO: In the opposite side work: 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 HDC, 2DC, 2DC, 2DC, 1 HDC, 2 SC, join. Cut off yarn.

Sew or Slip Stitch each petal to the next petal in the beginning center single crochet of each petal until they are all joined to for a petal ring. Whip stitch the flower center to the center ring of flowers.
