ReplyDeleteHello! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you soo much for al your patterns and videos!
I was always confused about increases and decreases until i started watching your videos and making projects
I loved this hat! Ive already made 2 of them, one with a hook a size smaller and the other with a hook size bigger than you showed in the video.. I liked how the smaller one turned out. Thanks again! Take care and keep up the good work. Please also visit my youtube if you arent too busy. :)

Hello! I am new to crocheting and want to try to make a hat for my 1 month old daughter. I am excited to try this pattern! How should I adjust it to fit a small baby? Thanks for any advice!
ReplyDeleteTeresa, I just used your video on YT to make this hat for my oldest daughter. I'd like to make one for my youngest daughter, but I have no idea how to make it smaller to fit her head.I measured her head and it's 20"(she's almost 6yrs.old).Are there any directions you can give me to make the hat for her? (I'm fairly new to crochet)Thanks in advance!
ReplyDeleteHi! The puff hat is beautifull and i have done it this evening! look! http://unpuntotiraglialtri.blogspot.com/ and come in my blog to visit it! I'm italian :)
ReplyDeleteHey Teresa!
ReplyDeleteThanks for video instructions! I made a hat and it is wonderful! Do you have a patterns for a puff stitch matching scarf?
Hi, I just wanted to thank you for such a nice explanation, it helped me very much, because it was easy to follow you...this is what I made under you instructions and I am very happy for it href="http://www.subotica.in.rs/2009/12/28/plodovi-ljubavi/" title="Puff stich hat and scarf"
ReplyDeleteI was curious, do you have some instructions for some women clothes or idea where I can find one (with video...)
Hi Teresa
ReplyDeleteI love the hat, I'm trying to make one. Put in the inscructions it says SP what's that? It's not in your list of abreviations. I wish there was a crochet reader for dummies app out there, I need help! Love the hat, can't wait to try to make it. Thanks
Very pretty!!
ReplyDeletehi teresa,
ReplyDeletethis is jen, i want to do this pattern for my 5 month old baby what changes should i make?
what is the size of the pattern u hav explained?
Hi.. This is a cute design.. I altered it, and made a cute hat for my cat Nahlah.. She is going to look so cute in this.. I am making "kitty" booties to go with.. I also added a pom at the top, and ties to the side so that it stays on her head.. I will try to post a picture of it, when I get it on her.. Thanks again..
ReplyDeleteHi Teresa!
ReplyDeleteI'm a portuguese about to be mama of my second girl, inlove with crochet. This hat is so lovely!
I'm thinking about doing a puff stitch with 7 loops instead of 9, because the yarn I have is very thick. What do you think about it? When i finish it, i'll send a photo!
Bye
Marta Nunes.
Hi Teresa!

Thank you so much for making the video and providing written instructions. I have just finished it (after a few attempts as I am a beginner)and I am so happy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
I love all your work because you show it right and left-handed. The puff stitch is just like the popcorn stitch right? To me the popcorn looks neater in a pattern than the puff stitch - that is just my opinion right! But keep up the left-handed videos. I am still working on the magic circle -I cannot seem to get it yet, but I will keep trying until I succeed!
ReplyDeletethankkkkkkkk uu my first hat that i made that i actually like!! i added 11 rows and went to o a bigger band just so i can add 2 lil side buttons!!! thanks uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
ReplyDeleteWhich scarf tutorial would compliment the puff stitch hat? I searched for a puff stitch scarf, but didn't find one. Could I start it off like a granny square?
ReplyDeleteHello- I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. I just can't seem to get the shape I want. Yours looks more like a beanie shape and mine looks like a beret. Any tips?
