Materials
Size I/5.5 mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn
Tapestry Needle

Slip Stitch yarn to the hat. Chain 5.
Work 1 SC in each of the next 4 Chains. Slip stitch in the same space where you joined the yarn to the hat. Slip stitch to the next stitch, Turn.
Row 1: Work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches. Work 3 SC in the end stitch. Working down the opposite side, Work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches. Slip stitch in the same space where you joined the yarn to the hat. Slip stitch to the next stitch,Turn.
Row 2: Work 1 SC in each of the next 4 stitches. Work 3 SC in the end stitch. Working down the opposite side, Work 1 SC in each of the next 4 stitches. Work 1 SC in each of the next 3 stitches. Slip stitch in the same space where you joined the yarn to the hat. Slip stitch to the next stitch,Turn.

The ear flap will continue to get larger by 1 stitch on each side, with every additional row.
