Round 3: 1 SC in ea SC around (12 single crochet total)

Add some stuffing to the cherry. Secure the last stitch and sew the top shut. This is where you can sew the cherry to the frosting. Secure, knot and hide your tail.
Sewing Frosting to CupCake Side: Stuff your cupcake with polyester fiberfill. You can add some potpourri, rocks or sand for added stability and weight. I added some liquid potpourri to my fiberfill. Once you have completed stuffing your cupcake, align the side and frosting however you want it to look. Sew the pieces together. Secure, knot and hide your tail.
Ohhhh my gosh! This is soooo cute!!! Must make... Already starting today!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, I hope to make one this week!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that you are selling videos for download. I really hope you are successful with this because you deserve to be compensated for your work. Have you ever thought about making a video with all the fundamentals of crocheting, maybe like 1 hour and selling it for like $5 or $10. You should make it so that you can only see a sample and you have to pay to see the whole thing. That would be great! You could make it like one of those instructional videos or fitness videos.
ReplyDeleteON the second row of the bottom it says to do 24 hdc in the loop. It is obvious on the video that you mean to do 2 dc in each hdc of the previous row.
ReplyDeleteCarla,
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing that out, I will fix it.
awesome!! starting now!!

This is so cute. My daughter is turning 4 in a month and I would love to make one for her. Here is my problem. I can read the directions, but my skill level is not the best. Is there a way you can make a video of this or do you have one???? Your site is the best. I am so happy I have found it.Thanks for your hard work.
ReplyDeleteOh I just read Brandon's comment and he is right. you should make a crochet fundamental vid. I would buy one. Do you have the cupcake video to buy??? I would buy it in a heart beat. thanks for your hard work.
ReplyDeleteBecky Nelson,
ReplyDeleteDid you see the link to the video posted on Youtube? It is underneath the picture of the cupcakes. Right now all the video's that I have posted on Youtube are forsale during a BETA testing phase. The link is to the lower left of the video.
